Join us for our monthly speaker series at RAK Brewing Company in Downtown Frederick. Grab a bite and a beer with other nature lovers and get ready to learn about the Hawks and Falcons of Maryland with C.J. White, Education & Community Engagement Manager at Second Chance Wildlife Center.
With more than 15 years of experience in wildlife education and experience working with over 300 animal species, C.J. will explore the hawks and falcons we can regularly see in Maryland, along with some of the less common species in our area. Learn about their unique adaptations, behaviors, and how to tell similar-looking species apart. C.J. is passionate about inspiring others to become better wildlife neighbors through education and conservation.
This is a free event, but we recommend you arrive early as seating is limited. These free events are possible due to the generous donations from the community.
